Vision for Embry
At its core, Embry exists to close the gap between curiosity and care. Today, millions of people begin their fertility journey without anywhere to go with their questions, and due to the taboos around sex, often wait years before seeking clinical support. Embry is designed to meet them at that first moment of uncertainty. By offering personalized, AI-powered guidance rooted in science and compassion, Embry helps aspiring parents get clear on their options, take meaningful steps sooner, and access trusted resources before issues become urgent.
For clinics, Embry offers a way to engage, educate, and support patients long before treatment is needed. Many patients show up only after years of missed opportunities or years before they actually need treatment, and both groups are often misinformed or unprepared. Embry helps clinics extend their reach upstream, nurturing relationships with future patients while offloading repetitive education and myth-busting. The result: more empowered patients, more efficient consultations, and a care pathway that starts with understanding, not overwhelm.

I build software tools in the healthtech space. When my wife and I got married in 2023, we were 32 and though we were thinking about kids, we were in no particular hurry. We had agreed we were going to, but had not exactly decided on when. I was working out of a fertility clinic, and figured it would be sensible to get a fertility check just to be safe.
We learned that my wife has diminished ovarian reserve and we may struggle to conceive. We were terrified, and decided to try a cycle of embryo freezing. After the intense physical and emotional burden of an IVF cycle, our retrieval resulted in a single egg that unfortunately degenerated after fertilization.
For us, information about our fertility was only accessible by going a fertility clinic, a daunting and emotionally sensitive step to take for any couple to take. If we had access to something like Embry, there’s a chance we would’ve learned about our potential barriers years earlier and possibly had a different outcome. I want to build something that enables a preventative approach to fertility care, for both patients and providers. There will always be cases like ours, but my hope for us and for everyone struggling to conceive is that
